Extra Curricular Clubs & Activities

Hornsey School for Girls offers a wide range of activities for all years at the beginning and end of the compulsory school day. We also run a range of lunchtime programmes specific to depts.  We aim to develop students’ full potential through creative, social, physical and intellectual experiences as well as provide a safe, friendly and secure environment where a variety of activities are offered.

We have several performing arts events throughout the year. Our music performances have toured globally, showcasing our talented performing and creative subjects supporting our school pans and bands.

Trips and visits

Students attend curriculum-linked day trips to a variety of places of educational interest. We are hopeful that after a period of time, we will be able to restart the Duke of Edinburgh programme, giving students access to residential visits and outward bound experiences. Students are offered residential experiences, including trips abroad, which are linked directly to curriculum projects.
