The Role of the Governing Body

The role of the Governing Body is to:

  • Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school;
  • Hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its students, and the performance management of staff; and
  • Oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.

All Governors agreed to follow a Code of Conduct. There are no associate members of our governing body.
