Thank you to our amazing student leaders for developing this years assembly to mark LGTBQ+ History Month. 

Students met with the HT at the beginning of the month to plan out the key themes and then worked collaboratively to develop their own slides for presentation. 

Its really important to the school to recognise our diverse experiences and value different viewpoints respectfully. Throughout June, various events like festivals, and educational workshops are held to celebrate Pride. These events help to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and foster a sense of community. Special thanks to Mansoora for her work on design! 

Students highlighted key LGTBQ+ figures from History as well as presenting to all year groups across the school. Great job!
