One of the reasons the school does so well in English is the wider provison and focus on Oracy as a building block to all other areas of school life! 

Thanks to Ms Lord for arranging the Year 10's in the Speak out challenge - for this an expert-led workshop takes place and each student creates and delevers a speech from scratch! 

Well done to everyone who took part...the regional final will take place in Feb 2026 but here's hoping some of the outstanding speeches shown get a much deserved wider audience!
